Unveiling Our Saffron Legacy
Embarking on a transformative mission, two brothers, Barakat and Kudrat Rahmati, set out to create a saffron legacy that would resonate with the world. Their journey began in 2003 with their family-owned business, Herati Saffron Company, which produces premium saffron in Herat, Afghanistan. By 2008, they had expanded their horizons, introducing the aroma and flavor of their premium saffron to international markets.
All in the family
In 2003, the Rahmati family embarked on a saffron farming venture, which expanded into exports by 2008. The Rahmati brothers, Barakat and Kudrat, descendants of a long line of farmers, continue a tradition set by their father, who farmed for five decades.
